A new obverse, as well as a new reverse mark the 2005 Buffalo Nickel, making it a true American original. We've included 6 varieties of the new nickel in a black velvet display case for your collection. There is 1 Brilliant Uncirculated coin with the new Jefferson obverse side up, 1 Brilliant Uncirculated coin with the Buffalo reverse side up, (1) 24K gold plated coin, 1 platinum plated coin, (1) 24K gold plated hologram coin and 1 colorized coin. Each coin is individually encapsulated in clear acrylic capsules. The first of two new reverses on the 2005-dated nickel will feature the American bison, recognizing the American Indians and wildlife encountered by the Lewis and Clark expedition.
